BOTOX & DERMAL FILLERS

Botox injections are the fastest-growing cosmetic procedures in the industry. The procedure is one of the safest available for the reduction or softening of wrinkles. We frequently use it to treat frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead wrinkles, and lines around the eyes (Crow's Feet). A few tiny injections are administered to the skin which calm the muscles and thus, allows for a smoother, more relaxed appearance.

Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, Rafiesse, etc.) are used in treating deeper lines of the face such as nose and around mouth and also to plump up lips. With just one treatment, you'll get smooth and natural-looking results that last up to a year.

SUBLATIVE REJUVENATION WITH eMATRIX

eMatrix SUBLATIVE Rejuvenation is a non-laser and non-light−based treatment that utilizes Radio Frequency energy delivered to the dermis where it can produce significant deep tissue improvements with very minimal impact on the epidermis. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating in the region of the electrode matrix to induce skin injury, thus eliciting a wound healing response. This treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production in the deep layers of the skin resulting in a tighter, smoother, more refined and brighter appearance to areas treated. Ideal option for treating Acne Scars, Fine Wrinkles, Poor Skin Texture, Tone and Enlarged Pores. Treatments usually take 30 minutes and are spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters their skin. After treatment a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is also common. Typical treatments are 4 – 6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
  • 3 weeks before treatment no tanning and sunless tanners
  • 2-3 days before treatment discontinue using any irritant topical agents
  • On the day of treatment no lotion, makeup, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil should be used on the areas to be treated
  • If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time
  • If you are taking any antibiotics, please notify office ahead of time as some make your skin very sensitive to treatment
  • Avoid treatment while pregnant

SUBLIME SKIN CONTOURING

Sublime combines safe and effective levels of infrared light and bipolar radio frequency energies to remodel the dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth. The two combined energies improve your overall skin quality in areas that are most telling when it comes to age, such as cheeks and around the neck. Unlike conventional laser skin tightening treatments that are time and treatment intensive, and often too painful for many patients, Sublime can safely treat all skin types for sagginess, loss of elasticity, or textural irregularities. It is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment resulting in no downtime - you can return to your daily activities immediately following treatment. Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout the Sublime treatment regime. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the patient’s skin condition but typically a series of 3-5 consecutive treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
  • 3 weeks before treatment no tanning and sunless tanners
  • 4 days before treatment discontinue using any irritant topical agents
  • On the day of treatment no lotion, makeup, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil should be used on the areas to be treated
  • If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time
  • If you are taking any antibiotics, please notify office ahead of time as some make your skin very sensitive to treatment
  • Avoid treatment while pregnant

SUN & AGE SPOT REMOVAL

Age spots, also known as sun spots are flat, tan, brown, or dark brown spots on sun-exposed skin. As people age, sun spots most commonly appear on the back of the hands, the forearms, neck, chest, and face and are associated with cumulative sun exposure. The pigment producing cells in the skin (called melanocytes) are activated to produce more pigment (melanin) by ultraviolet rays. We use a laser light to selectively remove the pigment without damaging the normal surrounding skin. Tolerance of pain varies greatly from person to person. Many patients describe the feeling as a warming sensation similar to the feeling one has after a day on the beach. One to three treatments are recommended every 6-8 weeks.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Eight weeks before treatment and throughout the course of treatment patients are advised to:
  • No tanning and sunless tanners
  • On the day of treatment no lotion, makeup, perfume and deodorant should be used on the areas to be treated
  • If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time
  • If you are taking any antibiotics, please notify office ahead of time as some make your skin very sensitive to treatment
  • Avoid laser hair removal while pregnant

  • POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
  • AVOID THE SUN-completely the after treatment for 4 weeks
  • Wait at least 6 weeks before the next treatment

SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT

Spider veins are typically caused by abnormal blood flow and weakening of the blood vessel wall. Any condition or activity that places pressure on the veins (like weight gain, prolonged sitting or standing) can contribute to their development. Spider veins are always superficial to the skin and much smaller than the varicose veins. The best and gold standard treatment for spider veins is laser. Laser vein removal is an easy, fast, and effective way to treat superficial veins. The laser uses a focused beam of high-intensity light that penetrates deep into skin tissue where it delivers a controlled amount of therapeutic heat to the targeted blood vessels. The heat generated from the laser coagulates the blood inside the vessel causing it to collapse and seal. Over the next few weeks, the vessel disappears and all the blood is removed by the body's scavenging cells. Treatment could take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour, depending on the area and condition being treated. The number of sessions depends on the treatment you require and the condition of your skin. One to three treatments are recommended every 6-8 weeks.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Eight weeks before treatment and throughout the course of treatment patients are advised to:
  • No tanning and sunless tanners
  • The area to be treated should be shaved one day prior to treatment as closely as possible
  • On the day of treatment no lotion, makeup and perfume should be used on the areas to be treated
  • If you are taking Accutane, or have taken it in the last 6 months please notify office ahead of time
  • If you are taking any antibiotics or blood thinners, please notify office ahead of time
  • Avoid treatment while pregnant

  • POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
  • Tylenol is recommended for any pain, as needed
  • AVOID THE SUN-completely after treatment for 4 weeks to reduce hyper pigmentation. Use a broad spectrum SPF 45 zinc oxide or titanium dioxide with UV A/B sunblock
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours after treatment
  • Wait at least 6-8 weeks before the next treatment as resolution of the vessels continues throughout this entire period
  • Your leg veins may appear bruised or darker red following treatment. This discoloration will fade over the next few weeks. Brown discoloration may take several months to fade
